Rationale:
The Union, being very concerned about the fact that our current skills training is no longer mandatory, and is mostly tailored to please Magnet Appraisers as opposed to “skill days” and “hands on” mandatory training sessions for all ICU Nurses that we had before COVID, the Union has included the following question in the Survey:
Would you like to have regular and meaningful “Skill Days” and regular “Hands On” training sessions for all nurses (as we had before COVID) to keep your knowledge and practical skills up to date to ensure top performance of our Unit ?
