And I believe the break relief has to be experienced and willing to work beyond expected. Break relief has multiple experience that some of our ICU nurses has not perfected and most importantly be an advocate for the ICU staff to network and find solutions if they cannot solve a problem. - I do consider myself competent and skillful enough to confidently send nurses on their breaks. Although, I do not mind doing the job once in awhile , I also believe that there are many more stronger, faster and more competent nurses that are more fitting for the role. Such nurses are Joel I., David M, Willa I., Ella, Wilkie Du and some others. They do the job well and without complains. Im afraid not all nurses are like that.
