Other Answers & Rationales to Question # 20

All rationales/comments are left unedited, just like they were typed in response to the Survey Question # 20 below:

If you are a Member of our Action Team and have 2 (two) or more scheduled ATRN days, are you willing to give up at least one of your scheduled days to other member(s) of our current Action Team who have no scheduled ATRN days?

Other Answers:

  • I have 1 sheduled action team shift , but if somebody wants it i am willing to give up.

  • I dont see any issues why you cant give up a day for another AtRn since being AtRn is not something you were hired for by the hospital. Same thing applies for being a BReak Rn.. its not a positioned that you were hired for.

  • I only have one – it was given to me I did not take it and I waited ten years to get a spot . I was only a back up .

  • Not applicable for me. I only have one day schedule every other week.

  • I am only break relief ATRN and i do not have scheduled days.

  • I only have 1 day.

  • I have only 1 scheduled ATRN.

  • prefer not to answer.

  • I only have 1 scheduled day…

Rationales:

  • The rudiments of fairness require equal distribution scheduled of ATRN days among all Action Team Nurses.

  • If you’re a member of the ATRN then .. you should have a schedule day if you wanted to.

  • And I don’t want to do a regular action team day, but others that are capable should, just to get familiarity with the routine and policies.

  • I dont see any issues why you cant give up a day for another AtRn since being AtRn is not something you were hired for by the hospital. Same thing applies for being a BReak Rn.. its not a positioned that you were hired for.

  • Every action team should have an equal opportunity to implement this role and not be exclusive.

  • Day shift has a problem , night shift is flexible .

  • I am only a back up and rarely do action team.

  • The history for nurses who gave up their spot years ago is because of PAY- then covid happens they did not want to do covid floor for many years ! They left us stranded . Now they want to come back ? What happens if another covid or worst happens ? They are not a team worker, they only wanted the pay and just becuase it was convenient.
