Rationale:
Some of the opponents of Fair distribution of Action Team assignments among all willing ICU nurses are suggesting that it is a bad idea because in their unsupported opinion, the rotation of the Action Team assignments at other Kaiser hospitals located in Greater Sacramento area has allegedly resulted in inferior patient outcomes. However, in reality the opposite is true as evidenced by the fact that in December of 2023, the Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center, where the Action Team assignment is being rotated among all willing RNs to ensure superior patient outcomes, has in fact achieved spectacular patient outcomes, and has become the first hospital in the entire World achieving the Magnet Recognition Award with Distinction on their first try. To combat the possible spread of misinformation and to assess the overall awareness of this fact, the Union has added the following question to the Survey:
Are you aware of the fact that by rotating the Action Team RN assignment among nearly all ICU nurses, the ICU nurses at the Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center have achieved spectacular patient outcomes greatly contributing to their hospital becoming the first hospital in the entire World achieving the Magnet Recognition Award with Distinction on their first try in December of 2023?
